Alaia SS 2017 framboise pink halter backless maxi dress

Rare Alaia framboise pink halter and backless maxi gown from the Spring Summer 2017 collection. This piece was introduced in 2003, and brought back by Azzedine Alaia in 2017, for his final collection before his passing.

Details : This piece is cut from crisp cotton in a striking framboise pink and features a classic all-over broderie anglaise (eyelet) motif. The gathered halter neck bodice is designed with a deep center-front slit secured by fine cord ties and hooks. At the reverse, ultra-thin straps crisscross over an open back. The fitted bodice extends into an asymmetrical dropped waistline, detailed with gathered seams and trailing hip ties, before falling into a full, voluminous maxi skirt with a front slit. A beautifully constructed and highly wearable future archive piece.

Size : Tagged size IT38, best fits sizes XS and S. The back is adjustable.
