1. Delivery
Items are shipped worldwide within 5 business days of purchase. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your selected service (standard or express, when applicable) and destination. Once your parcel has been dispatched, tracking information is shared by email. An indirect or direct signature is required upon delivery.
Estimated Delivery Times (weekends not included)
France: Standard – approx. 4 business days, Express – approx. 48 hours
United States: Express – approx. 48-72 hours
Asia: Standard – approx. business 5 days, Express – approx. 72 hours
Other destinations: Standard – approx. 5–7 business days
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. ARCHIVES THEORY is not responsible for any delays during transportation and customs clearance. For international orders, customs duties, taxes, tariffs, or import fees are determined by local authorities and are the sole responsibility of the customer. ARCHIVES THEORY covers a part of shipping costs for all orders.
Depending on destination, pricing and service, we may use:
La Poste (France)
UPS (Europe)
DHL Express (Europe, US and rest of the world)
FedEx Express (US and rest of the world)
We select the most appropriate carrier based on delivery speed and destination.
Our items are carefully wrapped with tissue paper and each parcel includes a hand-written note and printed pictures of references. All shipments are declared to customs at their genuine value to guarantee full insurance coverage and compliance with international regulations.
ARCHIVES THEORY is not responsible for parcels confirmed as delivered but subsequently misplaced or unclaimed by the recipient.
2. Returns
Due to the rarity and collectible nature of our vintage and archival pieces, all sales are considered final.
However, customers may be entitled to specific rights under applicable consumer protection laws in their country of residence, including the right of withdrawal where required by law.
For customers eligible for the right of withdrawal, requests must be submitted through our dedicated withdrawal form (here) within the applicable legal period.
Conditions:

Items must be returned in the original condition.

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
After inspection of the returned item, the amount is offered as store credit for future purchases. Please keep in mind that certain items may not be eligible for return.
